Livingston family. Restored mansion, visitor center, exhibit galleries,
formal gardens, carriage trails, picnicking. Grounds open all year 8:30am-

through mid-Dec.
- Clinton Exhibit Center

- Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve
Tivoli Bays, Annandale, NY 12504. 758-7010. 1,700 acre reserve,
managed as a wildlife management area and as a field laboratory for
research and education about the Hudson River Estuary. Canoe the
marsh, bicycle, observe wildlife or hike on one of five trails.
- Hudson River Sloop Clearwater
112 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. 454-7673. The
Clearwater sails the Hudson River conducting environmental educational
programs and riverfront festivals. Call Mon.-Fri., 9am-5pm, for dates,
times and locations of sloop.
- Hudson Valley Raptor Center

Meet eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures and owls face to face. Natural
history programs and flying demonstrations with birds of prey. Open
Apr.-Oct., Sat.-Sun., 1-4pm. Call for weekday hours.
- Innisfree Garden
RR 2, Box 38 A, Tyrrel Road, Millbrook, NY 12545. 677-8000.
Innisfree Garden has been in the "under construction" for 60 years. A unique contribution
to garden art in America, its design is influenced by a Chinese style dating
back 1,000 years. It features a 40-acre lake surrounded by cliffs, low hills, waterfalls
and streams. May 1-Oct. 20, Wed.-Fri., 10am-4pm; Sat.-Sun.,
11am-5pm.
- Institute of Ecosystem Studies: Mary Flagler Cary Arboretum

ecology programs, nature trails and plant collections, including tropical
greenhouse. Visitor permits required (free at the Gifford House Visitor
